1. Introduction & Overview

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Paylii’s software and commerce infrastructure. Paylii Gate Company acts as a technology integration partner integrated with Stripe Connect, enabling verified merchants to accept online card payments and digital commerce transactions globally.

By connecting your merchant account via Paylii, you confirm that you accept these Terms and the applicable Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

2. Nature of Service & Regulatory Status

Paylii operates strictly as a technical commerce software infrastructure provider. Paylii is not a bank, depository institution, direct merchant acquirer, or direct credit card issuer. All payment transactions, merchant underwriting, risk screening, and funds settlement are processed through licensed financial infrastructure partners (Stripe).

3. Merchant Obligations & Acceptable Use

Merchants agree to submit accurate, up-to-date business documentation during onboarding. Merchants are strictly prohibited from using the service for illegal goods, unlicensed financial activities, IP-infringing merchandise, or any categories listed under Stripe’s Restricted Businesses policy.

4. Payouts & Transaction Fees

Proceeds from processed sales are settled directly into the merchant’s verified bank account via Stripe’s banking rails according to the standard regional payout schedule. Platform software fees and card scheme interchange fees are deducted automatically at the time of transaction execution.

5. Refunds & Dispute Policy

Merchants are solely responsible for product fulfillment, customer support, and order dispute handling. In the event of a customer refund request or chargeback claim, disputes are managed directly within the Stripe Dashboard pursuant to card association regulations.
